The Undocumented Workers cross over the Frontier while a Host of Parasites and our own Whiskey-Soaked Mariachi Sings Songs and Panders for their Votes.

Published 3/12/08

The history of the world can be described as a trail of migrations. The ancient Romans came from somewhere [1] unknown and settled in the Tuscan area of Northern Italy and we know the history of that. The French, Dutch, Spanish and English migrated to American and brought in the Irish, Italians, Germans, Swiss and others. There were, of course, conflicts with the natives, a few wars and worse. The Romans apparently defeated the Tuscans. But the obvious courses of migrations are seen to derive from an urgent need to improve the economic status of the migrants. Little has changed since the Stone Age. This will not change for those who refuse to look out for their own political options.

When there is an interaction among peoples, we can rely on history as the grand predictor that highlights their struggles, discontent, hate and ultimately war as part of the ultimate outcomes. In the current situation, we have, among others, those who would leave Mexico and states that border that country on the south and take their chances in the United States. This is mostly due to a quest for a better life as only the Americans [only those north of the Rio Grande that is] can provide. We do not observe New Yorkers sneaking across intoJuarez to send money back to the Bronx. We could not make the case that this is a new phenomenon as the border has been wide open for about 7,000 years.

In the current state of affairs, we have the easily predictable political response from those who would be ‘advocates’ for both Hispanic illegal aliens and resident Latino Americans whose families may have been here for 1000 years or more. They will offer support, for a price. Quid pro quo. The quests for wealth and a better life are the main elements for participation in a political party or a union as the party or union usually makes grand and often false promises as to what they can deliver for political support. Democrats are promising lost auto worker jobs to be replaced in Michigan last week.[2] [3] This is not possible, so it is a political lie. As such, the only politically astute choices in our country are between nothing and the Democrats. So, patterned after the Afro-American political successes with affirmative action and racism, the Hispanic advocates such as Lulac[4] and La Raza parrot the most successful leftist political mechanisms as expected. There is no reason to believe that leftist Hispanics are anything other than leftists. They even recycle the language and rhetorical elements of legislation and speeches and thus excite prejudices used by Afro-American advocates in the past. This is expected and not unreasonable. This is merely part of the political process. They have a strong case to make too. Also, as expected, politicians who routinely practice demagoguery and pander to the notions of racism see a magnificent prospect for political power here and readily accept the support of not only citizens but illegal aliens. They probably can get votes from illegal aliens for free. As such, the bargain for support would obviously begin with amnesty, slackening of laws that control illegal immigration and control and monitoring of the borders with Canada and Mexico. This all sounds most fair and good. This requires that, as usual, divisions and differences among peoples must be firmly established, the bad guys labeled as the bad guys and voters steered to various parties according to the political expediencies of the moment. There are no latrines too ugly or polluted that a crooked, biased, Marxist or racist politician [mosquitos] will not rake the muck for votes. Paraphrasing the rhetoric of the past, the exploitation of the masses continues with the undocumented workers as was done with the Irish, Italians, and slaves and ex slaves and others in the past. Politics works well when proven methods are employed as suggested by Machiavelli and the current politicos know that fact well and will turn the old sausage crank and spew out political sausages as they have always done. Thus a new ‘civil rights’ and ‘affirmative action’ era is emblazoned upon the political banners. These rights and actions are actually traps that enslave people with phony social programs that are designed to make people dependent upon leftist politicians. It is time to realize that the ‘rights’ are simply ‘lefts’ that ensnarl the people and force them into phony social programs and poverty as they did for Afro-Americans. That is a howling political success as they now have 90% of the vote of that group. That is a political victory.

Now, there is no doubt that people deserve a better life than Mexico[5] can provide given its 800 year history of revolution, murder, genocide, poverty, drug production and the creation of the biggest Mugger’s Haven[6] [7]in the world with more than 25,000,000 potential victims in one city alone. A reading of the book Distant Neighbors [8] by Alan Riding, former ambassador to Mexico, shows us the intrinsic corruption and mismanagement of a country that soars beyond the normal range of dismal and must be deemed unacceptable under any standards. With the Communists set to control Mexico after the next election, there is no hope for any improvement. The stated goals of La Raza are noble indeed if taken at face value.[9] Nobody could argue with these precepts. The concept of the reconquistador[10] is another matter however. This is revolutionary talk, also part of the leftist political agenda. This is evident in the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or MEChA. [11]

Some of us have intimate knowledge of the typical Hispanic community, such as the author here, and have lived in communities that were more than half Latino for half our lives or more. Some of us have traveled to Mexico more than 50 times and can speak with authority on the corruption and poverty there. This writer’s little town[12] had a Spanish name and was 65% Hispanic in 1960 and is now 99%. What we all thought was that we were all essentially ‘Americans’ of various form and tone and that each distinct group [Japanese, Armenians, Spanish, Okies and others] had their own identities and loyalties and prejudices. There was no homogeneity in social terms; there was no war either. To imply that any one group was ‘pure’ or noble in their interactions with other ethnic identities is a farce as words like gringowetb--kpachuko, and Anglointer alia, were employed by all persons in the community of Orosi. The status of the community in terms of race and race relations and economic opportunities was essentially fair and balanced as those with the cognitive skills became doctors and accountants and barbers and such. Those with no ambition or lacking the requisite IQ stayed in the fields. As the economic times evolved, many Anglos moved away and more Hispanics moved into the area to take advantage of what they could do best with their resources. There were incidents of minor friction among those citizens of this little town that reflect the identical interactions between the Japanese and Koreans in Japan, the Irish and English in the United Kingdom and  Northern Ireland and between the Chinese and Vietnamese in Saigon and the interaction between Jews and Austrians in Graz or anywhere else in the world. The broad observation here is that people can all get along fairly well unless politicos enter into the fray to divide and prod some of the citizens and attempt to construct compartmentalized barriers and nurture hate and discontent. These are known as political agitators. Hate is easily encouraged as we saw in Germany, England, and elsewhere and makes perfect political sense in the current political context. Their ultimate success depends on how well they separate various ethnic groups into militaristic factions and keeps the groups agitated with the appropriate agitprop.

The permanent poverty status among most Mexicans and others is the major driving force that coerces people to test the border system and seek low-paying jobs in the north. This, and starvation, brought the Irish to Canada and then the US in 1848 as well. The Irish were quickly organized into political parties in New York City and elsewhere. This same poverty, regardless of the intrinsic reasons, also drives the poor into the hands of similar politicians now with the post 18th Century Marxist fluff and hokum. This process allows the parasitic elements of a certain political variety to blossom and take advantage of the situation. Here, the future and welfare of their victims are not of any concern, but the latent inheritance of new votes is tantalizing and extends beyond the faintest chance of neglect. After all, the leftists have no influence with the affluent. Ever wonder why? This just means that there are more suckers to be fleeced and added to the official low class ladder. Nothing in the constricted leftist agenda allows for prosperity or wealth, as can be seen from their numerous ruinous outcomes, as this is diametrically opposed to their political agenda. They wallow in poverty and pain and are connoisseurs in those matters. They promise things they cannot deliver, then confiscate what they can, grab what is left and spend it, and then it is all gone. We can prove this by the abject failure of social programs that obviously accomplish the very opposite from what the rhetoric promises. Look at the history of the USSR for examples.

Introducing the notion of parasitic politicians, we now must discuss Teddy Kennedy, our new whiskey-soaked[13] mariachi [oescorpión] who sings songs and invites Latinos to vote illegally and participate in a new affirmative action program. What else would we expect from a Nazi/Marxist blend of politics he inherited from his crooked father? His father slept with the Nazis in London, the Commies here in the US and with Soviet moles and with the Mafia to get his loot. Notice that the Rule of Law governing the issue of driver’s licenses in New York State, known as the Spitzer’s Blunder[14], is ignored by the left. Politicians will pervert the law for political power. This is a political tenet: only follow the particular laws that support your political agenda. Ignore laws that should be enforced if your votes hang in the balance.

So, what we see here is that the unfortunates who stream across the borders from Mexico and other lands fall in the slimy claws of the politicians on both sides. The Republican case of ‘enforcement of the law’ must prevail as the opposite leads to chaos. We must enforce laws, something that does not exclude Mexicans from living in the US in the long run. We cannot exactly open the borders with decorated arches and songs. The Democratic view of ignoring the law and padding the voter base with offers of government handouts is exactly the way the black community was slammed back into slavery with solitary confinement in their economic and social ghettos. The notion that the lots of black Americans have been improved by welfare, drug rehab programs, and such is a sick joke. Cities like New Orleans, Philly, Baltimore, Atlanta and East Saint Louis are excellent examples of how the leftist Democrats operate when given a free hand. These places are functional rat holes and only the local Democrat politicians benefit from the votes. These places are social and economic disasters and there is truly no hope for the inhabitants there but to hang onto to more tax largess. They have little else. To think that legalizing drugs and prostitution and providing free abortions in some way benefits the inner city populations is outrageous. The American Dream is to be found in the suburbs and only with those people who can participate in capitalism and free enterprises so they can afford homes, cars, boats and the good life. The American Dream is not derived from some political bozo buying votes with welfare checks and phony social programs that actually work in reverse. The awesome confiscatory tax structures envisioned by the Neo-Marxist radical left of the Clinton, Kerry and Kennedy Machines provide exactly what industrious Hispanics do not need. Liberalism is not the pathway out of the ghetto—it is the Open Door to the letrina.

Hispanics need to scrutinize some history and realize that their futures depend upon their labors and ingenuity in business and not as fruit cutters in the hot sun.[15] As such, the union organizing methods of Caesar Chavez [16] and Dolores Huerta [17] and others work against the futures of Latinos and everybody else. This is just blind unionism and crude liberalism and bears the ugly scars of crime and corruption and political domination. This is just crude Marxism at its worst—only the elite benefit. To ‘organize’ the field workers they simply bashed skulls and threatened the workers and forced them to sign up with the unions or face something worse.[18] This lesson needs to be digested and analyzed by the Latino Community.

Hispanics, undocumented or otherwise, need to realize that they face the same inner-city ghettoization that keeps blacks slaves to the Party of Democrats and borachos[19]  like Teddy Kennedy will introduce legislation to provide welfare and such to Latinos and still keep the tax rates so high that they will be subservient to liberals for their incomes. Translated with historical accuracy, they will take your votes in return for a mediocre existence falling far short of the American Dream. That is their price.

The American Dream depends only on independence and freedom from government and excessive taxes and socially corrupting legislation. Hispanics ought to realize that the leftists will never permit them to move to the suburbs where their enemies reside and keep their wealth. They will never allow them to become wealthy as this is ‘unfair’ and capitalistic in nature. Affluent blacks who became educated and were successful and moved to the suburbs now vote Republican in large numbers. These people who are against affirmative action[20] are deemed ‘inauthentic.’ Translated, this means that they escaped the clutches of the rabid left. Why do people vote Republican?? The Hispanics ought to think about this question and wonder why. The Republicans have their share of idiots[21] and criminals[22] but can frequently find some virtues in low taxes and capitalism.

Capitalism is the enemy of the left having destroyed the USSR and other phony Marxist states and recently fully 50% of the Mexicans voted for a rabid Marxist in the last election in Mexico. As such, the critical decision to cross the border to get a better life is the appropriate choice given the circumstances since they can escape Communism in their homeland. If they just move across and settle for more socialist-Marxist programs in the US they will have missed their opportunity. There is no future in liberalism as there is no future in Communism. Take a good look at life in Cuba for the answer to these questions. How many boats flock to the Cuban shores for the good life? Note also that capitalism is spontaneous and needs no muggers or dictators to force a different choice. Capitalism is self enabling. Socialism and Marxism promote the least gifted to positions of power.

So, advice to the Latino Community: pick your politics very carefully as this choice will certainly determine your economic future. Many who profess to be your friends are not. The coyotes liked your dinero too.

Usually attributed to the classical economist David Ricardo, comparative advantage is a key economic concept in the study of trade.” “Adam Smith had used the principle of absolute advantage to show how a country can benefit from trade if the country has the lowest absolute cost of production in a good (ie. it can produce more output per unit of input than any other country). The principle of comparative advantage shows that what matters is not the absolute cost, but the opportunity cost of production. The opportunity cost of production of a good can be measured as how much production of another good needs to be reduced to increase production by one more unit.”

Since our nation’s inception xenophobic attitudes have cyclically risen and abated depending in large part on the state of the economy, the ability of the newest-arrived immigrant community to integrate itself, demographic growth and general fear of “outsiders.”
